Handley Cellars
One of our favorite stops in the Anderson Valley is Handley Cellars. Lovely Pinots and Chardonnays. We were hoping to get back in the summer of 2017 but it wasn’t in the cards. We don’t have many pictures or wine descriptions from our previous visits.
Here are some wines we tasted last visit. This was a pinot flight. Some lower elevation, some higher, some closer to the coast, some inland. It was very interesting.
We arrived about ten minutes before opening and The guy working, Chris I think, opened the doors and said come on in. He was wonderful to talk with and gave us a great tasting experience. These are the ones we took home.
One thing we enjoy about the Anderson Valley is a certain style of Pinot Rose that has a lot of character from the skin. The Handley is great this way. This is good tasting experience and I hope we get back that way sometime soon.
