The Sounding Joy

The Sounding Joy grew out of a Humboldt County Christmas tradition. For many years, the Eureka Inn was at the heart of the community’s holiday season, welcoming people throughout December for a month-long celebration.

One year the celebration’s theme was The Sounding Joy. Matthew Cook created this collection of Christmas music for the occasion, and the album was given as a gift to guests who stayed at the Inn.

The result is an expansive collection of 23 traditional carols and Christmas favorites, from Joy To The World and Silent Night to The Christmas Song, Santa Baby and I’ll Be Home For Christmas.
