Moondance by Matthew Cook
Solo Piano Interpretations

Moondance

After recording several albums centered on familiar standards, including By Request and Stormy Weather, Matthew Cook returned with Moondance to a collection devoted entirely to more contemporary songs.

The repertoire ranges from Margaritaville and Something to She’s Always a Woman, Tears in Heaven, This Masquerade and Levon, all interpreted for solo piano.

The album builds toward an especially energetic finish, closing with rocking interpretations of Moondance, She Came in Through the Bathroom Window and Things We Said Today.
